Today I am sharing Georgee & Fenton’s London wedding at the Marylebone Town Hall from this summer. They both have bundles of style, which translated to an incredibly elegant wedding complete with a black tie dress code.
Marylebone Town Hall Wedding
They both got ready at the Holmes Hotel which is less than a five-minute walk from the Marylebone Town Hall. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a modern hotel to get ready at, with easy access to the town hall. I was with Georgee for most of the morning, photographing her and her girls getting ready but we did get a few snaps of Fenton getting ready too. How cool are the newspapers?! I love when couples add little details like this to their day.
Ceremony in the Westminster Room at Marylebone Town Hall
The ceremony took place in the Westminster Room, which is one of my favourite rooms at Marylebone Town Hall. After the ceremony we had a little while to take photos inside, using the iconic marble stairs for editorial photos. It was then time for the confetti throw, which is always an amazing shot on the famous town hall steps!
Wedding Photos in London
My favourite thing about shooting in London is the never ending supply of stunning backdrops. Wherever you go there is somewhere beautiful to take photos. After some group photos on the stairs, we went on a walk through Marylebone and towards their reception venue. We had some wonderful photo opportunities on the way, including a vintage car! When the owner of the car saw they had just gotten married he encouraged them to use it for photos. That’s the amazing thing about Marylebone Town Hall weddings, you just never know what photo opportunities might arise!
Reception at the Italian Greyhound
Fenton & Georgee had their wedding reception at the Italian Greyhound, just near Hyde Park in London. They have a private dining room under the main restaurant so you can have the bottom floor all to yourself! The food was modern Italian and all the guests sat on a long banquet table. After a short speech from the bride and groom, it was time for me to go! I had the best time photographing their wedding and it was the perfect London elopement from start to finish.
